My little G is not that little anymore but to me she will always be my little girl. Since the studio in San Marco, we headed right down in the heart of San Marco to our great historical area for some modeling fun. These were captured right before the porch to Cafe Carmon was renevated. We beat a storm and captured some priceless picks right. We even managed to get a little Starbucks time in. Loving this light and my typical G’s attitude…
Wow how time goes by so quick…these little ones have grown so much since I saw them right after they were born for the newborn session. This studio session was twice the fun as both of them have completely different personalities. Who can resist baby twins? Way more fun to come as I get to see these two grow throughout the year… 🙂
Childrens Photography with a little help from that favorite toy!
Childrens Photography should be fun and how fun to bring your child’s “baby”. This special toy can make any childrens photography session go better! What is more comforting to a child that their special things. Do you remember your favorite toy growing up? I bet you do…mine was my curious george stuffed animal. He went everywhere with me! So why not throw that toy into your bag on the way to a photo shoot. And maybe even include the favorite blankie too!
This is a mini session that we did here at the studio. I wanted to capture her toddler energy along with the quiet moments. She was on the move most of the time and had her best friend “e” the frog with her. We ran, played and who can resist those eyes. She is a beauty! I think this just shows how much personality and energy she has. I wish I could be 17 months again…not a care in the world 🙂
Twin boy newborn photography…double fun!
Twin boy newborn babies…I am in love! I’ve known this family for a long time and I was so excited when I found out that they were expecting twins. Here is just a sneak peak of the newborn session from the studio. The babies were wide awake most of this time! Such a great time and I even got to meet the Grandparents. Two more boys…the girls in this household are so outnumbered now!
For newborn sessions, I like to use natural light as much as possible. Because natural light is my light of choice I like to use the windows of the studio. However, when photographing newborns be careful of bright natural light or direct sunlight. Newborn baby eyes just can’t take that much light and you want to watch for unflattering patterns on faces if the light is coming through a window. Look for good light…light that skims the skin almost like being lit by a giant studio softbox.
Twin boy newborn photography is double the fun and double the blessing 🙂
I had so much fun yesterday. These little miracles came early and I was finally able to meet them for the first time. Teenie tiny little toes and feet…no better way to start my day. The third (furry) child was so sweet and gentle…he posed for me. What a great day and I feel honored to have taken part in it.
Mom and I were so excited by this image from her maternity session on the beach… What a better way to describe the miracle of life and what is represented in the total joy of expecting than a rainbow? And it couldn’t have appeared in a better spot showing the great gift of a promise and the miracle to come. I had the priviledge of meeting mom and dad in their beautiful home to do a newborn session a couple of weeks after this little miracle was born. We had so much fun and I just love those cowboy pants and squishy lips 🙂
Here we are at the studio for sweet little C’s 9 month session…along with a new prop (a big thanks to my friend Lisa 🙂 This little one should have a song named after her…she has the best personality and such a big smile that makes your heart melt. Big sister became my assistant and the smiles kept coming.
She’s one…you guys have seen little miss K before. This was such a fun beach session and it couldn’t have went better. We had blue skies and a lot of fun playing in the sand. What a better way to celebrate being one than a day at the beach…we are so lucky to be in Florida anyway. Big brother had lots of fun too throwing sea shells into the surf…all boy and so cute. This day was full of surprises and you would never believe she didn’t like the sand…
