COMMISSION PROCESS

How it works

1) Let’s talk about your wall. Tell me where it’ll hang, and we’ll find the size that fits it best.

2) Pick your reference photos. Send a few favorites of the place, and we’ll choose the ones that feel most like it.

3) I start painting. Once your deposit is in, I get to work on a hand-painted piece that’s all yours.

4) It comes home to you. After the balance is paid, your painting is packed with care and shipped to your door.

PET PORTRAITS

Thinking of a Holiday Pet Portrait?

My holiday pet portrait window is open, and only a few spots are left. Each one is an 8x10 portrait of your pet with a simple background, for $160. It makes a sweet gift for anyone whose pet is part of the family.

To grab a spot, send me a note through the contact form below and mention “Holiday Pet Portrait.”

Good to Know

How much does a commission cost?

Commissions start at 11x14 for $400, and the price grows with the size. A few common sizes: 16x20 is $745, 24x36 is $1,630, and 30x40 is $2,235. Each extra person or pet adds $150. Framing, shipping, and sales tax (if it applies) are extra.

Can I get something smaller than 11x14?

Smaller sizes open in short windows a few times a year, with a set number of spots. My email list hears about them first, so that’s the best place to be.

How long does it take?

Most commissions take 4 to 6 weeks. Need it sooner? Rush commissions in under 3 weeks are an extra 25%.

How do I hold my spot?

A 50% deposit reserves your place on my calendar, and I start painting once it clears. The rest is due before your painting ships.

Can I ask for changes?

Of course! One round of changes is included, so we can get it just right before it’s finished.

Can I get one in time for the holidays?

If you’re hoping to give it this season, reach out by November 15 so there’s time to paint and ship it. Depending on medium and size, we might be able to make it work! Past that date? A Commission Gift card makes a lovely present, and they can pick their place after the holidays.

Can I give a commission as a gift?

Yes! The Commission Gift card is $400, which covers an 11x14 commission. They choose the place they love or pet, and I paint it for them.
